In this video tutorial we can see what to do when the engine oil light comes on in the dashboard of the car. When the engine oil warning light comes on, it means that the engine oil pressure is too low and if you don't take care of it as soon as possible, you could seriously damage your engine. The material needed: a lint-free cloth (to prevent the fibers from contaminating the oil); rubber work gloves; funnel. When working under the vehicle, always wear protective equipment such as goggles. First, work on a flat surface and the engine must not be running, wait for the engine to cool down, lift the bonnet and secure it with a special rod. Locate the engine oil dipstick; slowly pull the dipstick out and wipe it immediately with a clean rag. Insert the dipstick and leave it in place for about 4 seconds, then pull the dipstick out, if it is below the lower notch you need to top up with engine oil.
