In this video tutorial we can see step by step how to replace the car battery without going to the mechanic. The first thing you have to do is lift the bonnet and check the amperage of the old battery, because you have to buy the same one. If you do not have a battery removal tool, it is recommended that you purchase a battery removal kit. Before unhooking the poles of the battery, let's unscrew the bolt that keeps it fixed (as shown in the video) to the body of the car. Once the battery fixing bolt has been removed, let's disassemble the battery poles, starting first with the negative pole (black colour) and then the positive one (red colour), in this way we will avoid shorts; when instead you reassemble the new battery, you must start from the positive pole and then mount the negative pole.
