If this does not happen, potential causes could be: a faulty connection, which is a simple issue with the electrical system; the float in the brake fluid reservoir, which is more common in older cars; brake fluid below the minimum level.

In this case, open the bonnet and remove the cap from the brake fluid reservoir. Check the brake fluid level and ensure it exceeds the minimum indicator value.

How to Remove the Toll Tag Holder from the Car Windscreen
