How to Fix When Your Car Doesn't Switch from Petrol to LPG

A common issue with dual-fuel systems is when the car doesn't switch from petrol to LPG or switches back to petrol on its own. Here's how to address this problem. The issue usually comes from the solenoid valve that controls the tap that opens when switching to LPG. Removing it is easy; first, disconnect the electrical connector (take a photo to remember the correct position) and unscrew the 8 mm bolt on the head. Test the coil's operation with a multimeter set to Ohms. If the coil is functioning, great; if not, it can be replaced for just over £10. To reinstall it, place it back in its support, reattach the bolt with its washer, and reconnect the electrical connectors. It's a good idea to spray some WD-40, as sometimes the electrical contacts may not be clean enough.

How to Check the Oil Level on a Jeep Renegade?

To check the oil level on a Jeep Renegade, you need to open the bonnet to access the components inside the engine bay: on the lower left side of the engine block, you will find the dipstick for checking the level. This should be pulled out and thoroughly cleaned with a cloth: once cleaned, reinsert it back into its tube and pull it out immediately after.
