Repairing Air Conditioning Leak and DIY Gas Recharge

If activating the air conditioning does not produce sufficiently cold air from the vents, it means that there is not enough gas in the system, and since it is a closed circuit, there may be a leak. You can check and resolve the problem by purchasing a kit with a pressure gauge. Start the engine, turn on the air conditioning, and connect the appropriate fitting to the low-pressure port, closing the valve. If the pressure gauge remains at zero, it means the compressor is not generating pressure due to a possible leak in the system. Open the valve, then insert the leak repair canister and close the valve to circulate the product, and you will notice the pressure rise. You can now connect the gas canister and refill the system; the recharge is complete when the pressure approaches 40 bar.
