How to access the "kickdown" function on the automatic transmission

In this video we are going to discover a very useful function that exists on all automatic transmissions, and that can be really useful in terms of both safety and driving smoothness. All automatic transmissions, in fact, have a function called "kickdown", which is activated simply by pressing the accelerator all the way down. At the bottom, we will feel like an additional, small step. That step is precisely the "kickdown" function, which in English means "throw down", and in fact it is a way of telling the control unit to search for the lowest possible gear of the transmission, in order to seek the maximum power of the engine, for maximum performance in acceleration: useful for a overtaking, perhaps. Even if the engine revs high, it is not a problem, as long as it is done in moderation.
