How to Replace the Diesel Filter

Release the bonnet from the appropriate lever and lift it. Three types of filters will be described, although they all function very similarly. After disconnecting the battery terminals to protect against any risky procedures, locate the position of the filter on your vehicle and disconnect the inlet and outlet pipes. Prepare some rags to catch any fuel that may spill, then remove the parts securing the filter and extract it. Reverse the steps described for reassembling the various components.
