How to replace the battery of the Volkswagen Passat B8 key

If the key of your Volkswagen Passat B8 has stopped working due to the completely discharged battery, then all you have to do is carefully read the following guide and follow the steps described. First of all, you need to purchase a new button cell battery (model CR 2032) and then get a small flat screwdriver and use it to remove the back cover of the key. Once removed, locate the exhausted battery and proceed with its replacement. Finally, reassemble the back cover and the procedure is successfully completed.
