If the key for your Volkswagen Passat B8 has stopped working due to a completely flat battery, you just need to carefully read the following guide and follow the described steps. First, purchase a new button cell battery (model CR 2032), then get a small flat screwdriver and use it to remove the back cover of the key. Once removed, locate the exhausted battery and proceed with its replacement.

Finally, reattach the back cover, and the procedure is successfully completed.
