In this guide, you will find instructions for removing and replacing the timing chain on the Volkswagen Caddy 1.2 TSI; for this engine type, the timing chain should be replaced every 155,000 miles. Therefore, raise the vehicle and remove the front wheel and wheel arch liner; remove the timing cover to access the chain.

At this point, remove the engine oil sump and disconnect the timing chain from the pulleys, replacing it with a new one, following the video tutorial to the end!
