How do you replace the control unit of the Volkswagen Passat?

In order to replace the control unit of the Volkswagen Passat, you need to open the hood so that you can access the components located inside the engine compartment: on the top you will be able to identify the protective panel located at the base of the windshield. By completely removing it, you will be able to locate the control unit on the driver's side: by disconnecting the connectors and unscrewing the screws that secure it to its housing, you will be able to remove it completely. In this way, you can insert the new control unit, connecting and installing it properly.
