How to Replace the Front Bumper Grille on the Volkswagen Golf

Model: Volkswagen Golf MK 5, Golf 5, Golf V - Years 2003-2008

To carry out this simple operation, you will need to release the bonnet from the appropriate lever to lift it and secure it with the prop rod. This will give you access to the screws securing the upper part of the bumper. After this, you will also need to remove the screws securing the inner edge of the wing. Next, remove the screws securing the lower part of the bumper. Once done, you can initially detach the upper grille and then the bumper by disconnecting the connectors at the back. Retrace the steps described in reverse for reassembly.
