To set the date on your Volkswagen Jetta, insert the ignition key to power on the instrument cluster. Once powered on, select the "Settings" option that appears on the central display.

This will allow you to scroll through the menu shown on the display to select "Time and date" and then "Date: ". This will bring up a screen where you can modify the day, month, and year. Confirm your changes by returning to the initial screen and turning off the ignition.
