How to remove the rear lights on a Volkswagen New Beetle

To remove the rear lights of a 1999 Volkswagen New Beetle, you can follow these steps. Open the rear hatch to access the lights. Remove the interior lining of the trunk to expose the lights. Locate the screws or bolts that secure the light to the body of the car. Usually, there are two or three screws that can be removed with a screwdriver or a wrench. Disconnect the electrical connector of the light. You may need to press a release tab to separate the connector. Gently pull the light outward to remove it from the vehicle's body. If necessary, remove the bulbs by turning them counterclockwise before removing the light. Remember to handle the components carefully and turn off the engine and remove the key from the ignition before starting any work on the lights for safety reasons.
