How to remove the centre console of the Volkswagen New Beetle? Follow these steps carefully: using a plastic or metal lever, pry off the upper plastic trim of the dashboard. Next, unscrew the screws at the top of the console using a screwdriver or socket. Remove the plastic frame around the stereo, pull the stereo out of the dashboard, and unscrew the securing pins located at the bottom of the climate control buttons with a socket. Remove the switch panel and disconnect the power connectors. Finally, unscrew the last pins around the console and pull the entire piece away from the dashboard.
