How to disassemble the rear tailgate panel of the Volkswagen Golf

Today we will see step by step instructions on how to disassemble and replace the plastic panel of the rear tailgate of the Volkswagen Golf. First, open the trunk and start unscrewing the fastening screws found inside the panel handles; then lever on the sides of the panel to detach and remove it, as shown in the video. At this point, it will be possible to access the inside of the rear tailgate, as well as the lock and the rear wiper motor; finally, reassemble the tailgate panel, applying the reverse process!
