How to replace the battery of the 2013 VW Passat

Replacing the battery of a car is an operation that can be done independently thanks to our short video tutorials. Today's video tutorial is about replacing the battery of a 2013 Volkswagen Passat. To perform the battery replacement, we need to park the vehicle on a flat surface and lift the front hood release lever. Open the front hood and secure it with the locking rod. Remove the engine cover and unscrew the screws on the battery bracket. Disconnect the negative pole from the battery and immediately after the positive pole. It is important not to reverse this operation as the positive pole could still hold a charge and cause harm to the person during removal. Remove the old battery and insert the new one. Connect the positive pole and then the negative pole to the battery, mount the bracket and the engine cover. Close the front hood and start the vehicle to test the battery's functionality.
