If you want to replace the battery inside the key of your Volkswagen Jetta Mk4 by yourself, all you have to do is follow the steps described in our new guide. First, you need to lift the emergency key from the side of the cover, then remove the cover with the help of a flathead screwdriver and locate the battery you want to replace. Next, remove the old battery and replace it with a new battery of the same type. Finally, reassemble the protective cover and the procedure is successfully completed.
