If the key of your Volkswagen Jetta Mk5 has stopped working and the cause is a completely discharged battery, then all you have to do is follow the following steps to replace it correctly and safely. First of all, remove the emergency key from the side of the cover, then disassemble the cover and separate the upper part from the lower part. At this point, open the lower part and locate the battery. Finally, remove the exhausted battery and replace it with the new one. Reassemble the cover correctly and you're done.
