Replacing a non-functioning car radio on a Volkswagen vehicle is a very simple operation to perform independently. To begin the replacement, we need to get a new radio model, a screwdriver, and plastic tools for leverage. To carry out the replacement, we first remove the central dashboard using the leverage tools and then unscrew the screws on the sides to remove the radio. We disconnect the connector and insert it into the new radio, mount the radio in its housing, and close the central dashboard. We turn on the radio to test its functionality.
