In this video we can see how to remove the front seats of a Volkswagen Polo IV, in order to wash - or clean carefully - the upholstery. When removing the upholstery, the important thing to pay attention to on the sides are the airbag containers. Using a screwdriver, we enter inside the seat fold to release the two clips that hold the upholstery in tension. Once these are removed, the fabric comes off the backrest, simply by pulling it up; of course, it is held in place by the clips that hold the headrests. We remove them gently and at this point all the upholstery has been removed from the seat padding.
