It will be possible to reset the Climatronic system on the Volkswagen Passat by turning on the instrument panel, so that the controls on the central dashboard panel can be used. Once the panel is activated, you will need to press and hold the ECON button and the one with the arrow icon pointing towards the face simultaneously. This way, you will notice that the dual-zone climate temperature indicators will darken; after waiting a few seconds, the previous temperature settings will reappear on the indicators and the reset will be completed.
