How do you replace the water pump of the Volkswagen Polo 1.2 TSi?

In order to replace the water pump of the Volkswagen Polo 1.2 TSi, you need to open the hood so that you can access the components located inside the engine compartment: here you will be able to locate the battery on the right side. This must be removed from its housing by loosening the screws that hold it in place and disconnecting the power cables. At this point, you will be able to access the water pump underneath that needs to be freed from the appropriate hoses: this way you can insert the new pump, ensuring that it is connected and checking that everything works.
