How do you replace the climate actuator of the Volkswagen Golf?

In order to replace the climate actuator of the Volkswagen Golf, you must first open the glove compartment on the passenger side: you will need to detach the internal hooks to ensure that it is completely removed. Once removed, you will be able to locate the actuator on the left side of its housing: you will need to disconnect the connector in order to remove the old component. The new one can now be inserted and connected, repositioning the glove compartment to ensure that everything is functioning properly.
