How to replace the front wheel bearing of a Volkswagen Golf

Below we will see the step-by-step instructions that will allow us to disassemble and replace the front wheel bearing of the Volkswagen Golf. First of all, we get on board the car and start disassembling the front wheel; then we disconnect the brake caliper, unscrewing the rear fixing screws and applying pressure on the caliper piston to make it retract. At this point, we also remove the brake disc, thus being able to access the wheel bearing; we then disconnect the control arm, unscrewing the lower nuts, and then remove the bearing (extracting it from the driveshaft). We replace the bearing with the new one and reassemble everything!
