How do you deactivate the passenger airbag of the Volkswagen Golf?

It will be possible to deactivate the airbag of the Volkswagen Golf by opening the glove compartment located on the passenger side: once the compartment is open, you will be able to locate the lock inside with the word AIRBAG. You will need to insert the ignition key into the lock in order to turn it from ON to OFF. Once the lock has been turned, you can turn on the instrument panel to verify that the airbag light is activated, indicating that the airbag has been deactivated.
