Do you want to replace the rear shock absorber mount on a Volkswagen Golf? Follow these steps carefully: loosen the wheel nuts with a suitable (telescopic spanner or air drill), lift the car on a column lift and remove the wheel. Use a socket spanner to unscrew the securing bolts of the shock absorber (at the top and bottom), then remove the shock absorber from its housing. Dismantle the shock absorber and replace the mount (as shown in the video); insert the shock absorber back into its housing and first tighten all the bolts at the top of the shock absorber, then secure the bottom to the wheel hub.
