How to Replace the Radiator with the Fan on a VW Golf 4

How to remove the radiator and cooling fan from a Volkswagen Golf 4? Open the bonnet, and using a suitable socket spanner, remove the plates that secure the radiator at the top. Then lift the car on a column lift and loosen the clamp on the water hose (let the fluid drain into a container). Disconnect the various hoses of the cooling system with pliers, and unscrew the lock that secures the front bonnet if it obstructs removal. Once free from screws and hoses, you can extract the fans and then the radiator from the engine bay. Prepare to install the new part in the engine bay: install the cooling fans, terminals, bolts, and various pipes. Reattach the radiator mounting brackets with the associated plates. Tighten the plastics and front grille securely with a socket spanner. Refill with new fluid and bleed the air from the cooling system.
