How to Remove the Fuel Flap of a VW Polo

Don't know how to replace the plastic of the fuel flap on your VW Polo? It's a very simple operation: open the fuel flap, unscrew the filler cap, and with a screwdriver, remove the pins located on the inner plastic of the fuel cap. After unscrewing the pins, use both hands to grasp the flap's frame and pull it towards you. Leverage around the lock and pull it out; along with the lock, the opening flap's power cable will also come out. Replace the damaged motor with a new one of the same size.
