How do you reset the tire pressure warning light on the Volkswagen Passat?

The tire pressure warning light that appears on the instrument panel of the Volkswagen Passat can be completely reset by first inflating the tires until they reach the correct pressure value: this value will be indicated on the sticker attached to the driver's side door pillar. Once the tires have been properly inflated, you can turn on the instrument panel using the ignition key: then you can open the glove compartment, locating the SET button in the upper left corner. By holding down this button, the warning light will be reset.
