How to refill the windshield washer fluid on the BMW iD3.

The windshield washer opening and refill system of the BMW iD3 is similar to that of many other modern vehicles, except that it is pressurized. Therefore, it is important not to open the cap immediately after using the washer; we must wait a few minutes. The tank cap is a screw-on type. As with all modern vehicles, it is absolutely not recommended to use water, as it could damage the pipes and the windshield. The tank is located on the left side of the engine compartment and has a blue cap; removing the cap is the critical operation: before unscrewing it, we need to press the washer lever inside the car for a few seconds. This will release the residual pressure in the system. This will allow us to carefully unscrew the blue cap counterclockwise. If we still hear a slight hissing of pressure, we should wait another 30 seconds.
