Programming or reprogramming the car remote is a simple and quick operation that can be done independently. To perform this operation on a Volkswagen Golf model 5, we need to get inside the vehicle and close the driver's side door. From inside the car, we must press the remote's lock and unlock button three times in a row; then, we insert the key into the ignition switch and turn the ignition on and off three times in a row. We remove the key and from inside the vehicle, we press the lock and unlock button once.
