Resetting the procedure on a Volkswagen vehicle is a very simple and quick task that can be done independently without any external tools. Turn on the instrument cluster of the Volkswagen Golf and press the button with the symbol 0.0 on the right side of the cluster for 5 seconds. The lights on the cluster will start flashing and then turn off when you release the button. Restart the instrument cluster to complete the reset procedure. If the reset fails, you will need to check the oil level sensors or perform a diagnosis to scan the vehicle.
