You can replace the radio in a Volkswagen Passat by using a tool to lever off the trim that surrounds the device and extends along the dashboard. Once this trim is removed, you can locate the screws underneath that secure the radio. Now, release the radio from its housing by loosening the screws and disconnect the connectors at the back of the device. You can now insert the new replacement device, connect it, and secure it in place.
