Replacing the Cabin Air Filter on VW Up

Model: Volkswagen Up MK 1 - Years 2011-2024

Replacing this filter is very simple and does not require special skills. The box containing the cabin filter is located behind the centre console at the bottom right (near the passenger footwell). Detach the four plastic tabs carefully to avoid breaking them in order to free the cover and remove it. Once done, you can extract the old cartridge and replace it with a new one, ensuring the correct orientation. Now you can reposition the cover and secure it by applying slight pressure on the plastic levers until you hear a click.
