This guide provides step-by-step instructions on how to remove and replace the engine air filter on the Volkswagen Up 1.0. First, open the vehicle's bonnet and gently detach the air filter box from the throttle body; then unscrew the securing screws found on the sides using a spanner or Torx screwdriver, removing the cover and subsequently the cartridge, as shown in the video. At this point, clean the inside of the filter box, inserting the new air filter in the correct orientation; secure the filter box onto the throttle body.
