See how to remove and replace the engine air filter on a Volkswagen Up. Open and lift the front bonnet (where the engine is located), securing it. Remove the engine soundproofing panel, then open the air kit (unscrew the securing screws or unclip the clips), uncover the filter box cap and extract the air filter. Insert the new filter into the dedicated housing (ensuring it fits snugly around the edges). Finally, refit the soundproofing panel containing the air box and tighten the screws. Close the engine compartment at the end of maintenance.
