How to Program the Keys of the Volkswagen Gol 2008-2013

Let's see how to program the key for the Volkswagen Gol: this procedure is only for programming the door lock and unlock functions, not for the engine ignition chip. You need to have a working key. Close all the doors: insert the new key (still non-functional) into the ignition switch and turn it to the "On" position. Now exit the car, close the driver door, take the working key, and insert it into the door lock; turn it to the "lock" position and keep it turned. While holding it turned, press the "lock" (or "unlock") button on the master key remote. Wait 2 seconds and press the button a second time. You will hear the horn sound (or see the turn signal lights flash). This confirms that the key has been recognized. Remove the master key, get back in the car, and test the remote by locking and unlocking the doors.
