First, park the vehicle on a flat surface with the first gear engaged, then locate the small cap at the bottom of the rear cup holder and remove it. Next, unscrew the screw you just exposed, lift the cover of the centre tunnel, and using a 10mm spanner, tighten the adjustment nut until you reach the desired tension level. At this point, test the new adjustment on a suitable road.
