This video shows the location and diagram of the fuse boxes and relays of the Volkswagen Vento MK1 produced between 1991 and 1998: The fuse box is located only in the dashboard and is situated under the steering wheel. To access it, press the catches located at the bottom and remove the cover to access the fuses and relays.

The cigarette lighter fuse, which is also a power socket, is number F22, the last in the horizontal row of fuses located under the relays. There is no fuse box located in the engine bay.
