Where is the OBD Port on the Volkswagen Caddy?

Model: Volkswagen Caddy MK 3, 2K - Years 2003-2020

The diagnostic port or OBD port on a 2008 Volkswagen Caddy is located inside the cabin. The OBD port is found inside the glove compartment on the passenger side; to access it, open the glove box and detach the plastic cover, which may or may not be present. On this specific model, the cover is not present. The port is purple, a colour chosen by the manufacturer to prevent confusion with other connectors. The use of the port is necessary during computerised diagnostics. If the port malfunctions, check the corresponding fuse.
