In this very short video tutorial, see how to replace the key battery on a Volkswagen Golf, GTI model of the seventh generation produced from 2012 to 2019. Start the procedure by pressing the key release button to remove it from its housing, then pry off the rear cover of the remote as shown in the video. Once done, remove the old battery and replace it with a new one, then reassemble everything by following the reverse procedure. The required battery is a CR2025.
