In this tutorial, see how to replace the auxiliary belt in the Volkswagen Tiguan, a very simple operation. First, ensure that the engine is cool enough, then lift the front right side of the vehicle, taking all necessary safety precautions, and remove both the wheel and the inner wheel arch cover.

Next, grasp the tensioner with a long 16mm spanner, loosen the tension, and remove the old belt. At this point, simply position the replacement in the same way and reassemble everything by following the reverse procedure.
