Removing the Window Regulator and Door Panel on a Volkswagen Passat

Remove the window regulator and door panel on a Volkswagen Passat by following these steps. Before starting the disassembly, disconnect the battery terminals located in the engine bay. Use a lever to remove the cover of the internal handle of the window regulator. Unscrew the screws located in the handle with a screwdriver, then remove the handle from the trim near the lever (remove the securing screws). Unscrew the remaining screws on the door panel and detach the securing clips. Remove the panel from the door; disassemble the metal cover. Unscrew the screws of the window regulator motor and remove it from the door. Reassemble everything in reverse order.
