How to Manually Put a Volkswagen-Audi DSG Gearbox into Neutral

To manually put a DSG automatic gearbox from Volkswagen/Audi into neutral when the car has no power (for example, due to a flat battery or an electronic fault), you can access the gear selector located under the plastic cover at the base of the gearbox, secured by screws. Remove it by unscrewing the retaining screws, and inside, look for the manual release device, which is usually a yellow/black button or lever (as shown in the video). Then, push the lever down (or if there is a button, press it). Replace the cover. Remember, this is an emergency procedure, only to push or tow the car when it is without power.
