How to Replace the Front Assist Sensor on the Volkswagen Passat

Model: Volkswagen Passat B8, 3G, MK 8 - Years 2014-2023

In this guide, we will discover the instructions that will allow us to remove and replace the front assist and detection sensor on the Volkswagen Passat. First, open the vehicle's bonnet and begin removing the front bumper grille by unscrewing the upper fixing screws. Then unscrew the front assist sensor screws, disconnecting the electrical connector at the back to remove it, as shown in the video. At this point, replace the sensor with the new original one, reassembling it correctly; reset the error using a diagnostic tool and check its operation.
