How to reset the service light on the Volkswagen Golf 5?

Model: Volkswagen Golf MK 5, Golf 5, Golf V - Years 2003-2008
Part: Service warning light

By holding down the button located on the right side of the instrument cluster, labelled "0.0", you can begin the reset of the service light on the Volkswagen Golf 5. Keep the button pressed while the cluster is off; continuing to hold it down, insert the ignition key into the lock and turn it to switch on the display. Once the cluster is activated, you will see that the service light will turn off after a moment; at this point, you can release the button and turn off the instrument cluster to finish.
