How to Remove the Crankshaft Sensor of a Golf

Model: Volkswagen Golf MK 5, Golf 5, Golf V - Years 2003-2008

In this guide, learn how to replace the crankshaft sensor of a Volkswagen Golf 5. Lift the front bonnet and secure it with the support rod. Locate the crankshaft sensor; using a socket spanner, unscrew the securing bolts of the air intake pipe (if present next to the valve). Disconnect the part from the engine mount (unscrew the securing bolts). Compare the damaged part with the new one, install the new part with the respective securing bolts, and reconnect the crankshaft sensor. Finally, check the maintenance performed and the correct functioning of the vehicle.
