How to Reset the Service Light on a VW Tiguan

Model: Volkswagen Tiguan 5N, MK 1 - Years 2007-2016

In this video, learn how to reset the service light on a VW Tiguan. Turn on the ignition of your car with the appropriate remote key; press the button located near the dashboard (on-board computer). Hold the button until the maintenance reset service message appears and confirm (OK button on the steering wheel); select the new service message. Turn off and then turn on the ignition again with the key; the maintenance message will appear along with the mileage for the next service. Double-check everything and turn off the ignition after setting.
