Volkswagen Polo - Video tutorial

Model: Volkswagen Polo Polo III, Polo 3, MK III, 6N, MK 3 - Years 1994-2003
Part: Rear light bulb
Operation: How to replace rear light bulbs on Volkswagen Polo Mk3

To replace the rear light bulbs on Volkswagen Polo, you will first need to access the rear part of the light, to do so it will be enough to widen the carpet behind the light from the inside of the trunk. Once the carpet has been opened, you will have access to the rear part of the light where there will be three nuts that secure the light to the bodywork and which must be unscrewed. After unscrewing the three nuts, it will be sufficient to pry the edges of the headlight a little to release it from the bodywork and it will be enough to unplug the power connector to remove it permanently from the car. In the rear part of the light there will be a group of lamp holders fixed to it by means of two plastic tabs which, once unhooked, will give access to all the bulbs which can thus be replaced.

Handbrake adjustment on Ford Ecosport

First remove the plastic profile at the base of the gear lever. To do this, slightly widen the side edges and carefully lift it to release it. There is no need to remove it completely, just move it forward to avoid bother. Now remove the plastic center console around the handbrake by first working from the rear to release it and lifting it until the brake lever passes. Also in this case it is not necessary to remove it completely but, paying attention to the connected cables, it can be stowed in front of the passenger seat. At this point we notice that at the base of the handbrake lever, on the front, we find a nut. By acting on it, with a 10 wrench, we can adjust the brake force, increasing it by turning the nut clockwise, or decreasing it by turning it counterclockwise. Once adjusted, the center console can be repositioned first, pressing lightly to engage it, and then the profile of the gearbox base.
