Replacing the Headlight Bulbs on a VW Polo

Learn how to remove the headlight and replace the bulbs on a Volkswagen Polo. Open the front bonnet by pulling the lever located at the bottom right of the dashboard, and secure it with the prop rod. Unscrew the headlight retaining screws; remove the headlight from its housing. Locate the inspection cap of the headlight (located at the rear of the headlight) and remove it. Once the bulbs are located, pull the bulb holders out of the headlight and extract the damaged bulbs using a screwdriver. Fit the new bulbs (ensuring they are the correct type and size) and insert the bulb holder back into the headlight housing. Reassemble all previously removed parts.
